Famous for its museums, most important of which are located in the Museumplein, Amsterdam offers you a chance to see unforgettable masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Mondriaan and more. The Anne Frank House is a sobering reminder of the city’s more recent history. After a lot of walking, the Rijksmuseum is a great place to rest and get some extra culture before visiting Amsterdam’s lovely Vondelpark.

Good afternoon Mo I’d just like to say thanks for letting me and my 2 friends stay in your fantastic Hollywood apartment. It was my 16th trip to Amsterdam and the second time I have stayed in your apartment which has to be the greatest place I have stayed in the many times I’ve been there. The location is fantastic and your hospitality is first class and I’m always comfortable & never once have i never felt relaxed during my stay. Your apartment decor is fun and quirky which I always enjoy when I stay there. I hope we were not to noisy and your apartment was tidy after we left. I look forward to staying at your Hollywood apartment again hopefully in September or early next year. Thanks for a great stay Regards Rob Norris
The apt was fully equipped with beautiful artwork and a lovely fresh bouquet of flowers. Those nice touches made it feel like home. Host was welcoming and provided a great deal of info re transits, etc.

Pros: The Hotel Amrath is a jewel among luxury hotels–beautiful architecture inside and out; clean, spacious comfortable rooms; great accommodating staff; and centrally located so one can walk everywhere. Don’t miss the gorgeous pool and spa.
This award-winning B&B sits above the celebrated Italian restaurant of the same name. There are two room types, standard and studio. The studio has its own kitchen so you can prepare your own meals and snacks.
The Quentin England Hotel is housed in an 18th century building, opposite the Vondelpark and just a 7 minute walk from the Rijksmuseum and van Gogh Museum. The hotel’s facilities include free wifi, a 24-hour reception, a private garden with a terrace, and continental breakfasts are available. The smart rooms feature free wifi, flat-screen TVs, and desks.
Pros: The INK hotel is in the perfect spot and it’s a gorgeous boutique. The room had very unique, modern decor with stylish writing on the walls. I worried that the look might come off cheesy, but it was very well done. Loves the staff, restaurant, and bar!
Most of the conferences take place at RAI Amsterdam, a large conference complex south of the centre, easily accessible by metro. You can conveniently stay downtown and use public transport to get there. If you prefer to stay nearby, there are several business hotels near RAI Amsterdam.
Pros: I moly took off one star because they weren’t very understanding of my accidental booking. Because of the change in time coming from the US, I booked for an extra day without realizing we actually get to amsterdam the next day!! They said because I booked through a third party they couldn’t do anything but they could have given something complimentary to offset it. Of course it was my fault but still. The hotel was clean and they were very accommodating on the other hand, they help with booking events for you and give you a crib for a baby if you ask. They also have toothpaste if you forget yours and have European charging adapters to loan

Some of the historical luxury hotels or boutique hotels overlooking the canal are valued for their romatic atmosphere, as are houseboats, a speciality of Amsterdam. Several castle hotels, windmill and lighthouse inns are situated in the region, but not directly in the city.
Cons: The front desk and housekeeping seemed understaffed. There always seemed to be a very long line to check in/out & ask questions. Rooms were not ready when promised although it ended up working in our favor as we received an upgrade & free drinks at the bar.
