Pros: Other than the location, this place really was just so-so. Most Marriott Courtyards are cleaner, more comfortable, and have much better service. For the price, however, it wasn’t a bad deal and proximity to both Amsterdam Centraal and many tourist attractions made up for the lack of aesthetic appeal and customer service.
Pros: Hotel was awesome!! Staying here was an awesome decision. Right next to a metro station, so instant access to city center and everywhere. Hotel was beautiful and everyone was wonderful. Many many amenities and great roof party!
Amsterdam ID Aparthotel features a rooftop terrace and puts you within a 15-minute drive of Anne Frank House. We would love to give the following testimonial: We visited this home as a family of 4 (2 adults, a 12-year old and a 10-year old), and found it absolutely amazing for our needs. It was so central that we could either walk to everything we needed or grab a tram. Perfect for Anne Franks’ House, the Dam, Central Station and the Canal region. Fantastic restaurants nearby, with great food for all tastes! Although there was a perfect kitchen, supplied with everything that was needed, we found the restaurants just too tempting! The accommodation was perfect for a family. Sam, who met us, was so accommodating and helpful- we arrived early and he was still able to let us in. I have stayed in a lot of rented properties (in the UK, NY, throughout France and Spain) and this was one of the absolute best! Can’t wait to come back again. Thanks, Alison
For rock/pop concerts and shows, there is the Afas Live, which features shows such as Batman Live, Riverdance, and acts like ZZ Top. The Ziggo Dome is an indoor music arena that also hosts big name acts, such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Tom Jones.
Moving slightly further from the city centre, the southern area of Amsterdam is home to top tourist attractions such as the Museum Quarter, Vondelpark and the lively markets of De Pijp. Hotels in this neighbourhood are also great for people looking for a quiet break in Amsterdam rather than a party weekend.
Van de betoverende grachtengordel tot de levendige Wallen, en van de drukte van het Rembrandtplein tot de rustige woonwijken van Oud Zuid – Amsterdam is verrassend in variatie, en iedere bezoeker voelt zich er thuis.

INK Hotel Amsterdam owes its name to the rich history of the building in which, as former home of the Dutch newspaper ‘De Tijd’, stories were conceived, written and brought to life in ink. INK Hotel is the place “where stories are yet to be written”. INK Hotel Amsterdam is a luxury design hotel, where the traditional rules of hospitality are freely translated to the modern day, rewriting the definition of ‘luxury’. Award winning, design located in the heart of Amsterdam.

Dutch pancakes are a popular meal that every visitor should try, we recommend Pannenkoekenhuis Upstairs (so long as you don’t mind the steep staircase up to the restaurant) which serve generous sized helpings of this favourite, the bacon and syrup pancake being particularly delicious.

Bekijk hotels.
With its liberal attitude towards sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll Amsterdam has become a firm favourite with stag parties, hen do’s, and students. It’s not all red lights and coffee shops, however. The capital of the Netherlands is home to hundreds of museums and art galleries, colourful flower markets, sprawling parks and quaint cobbled streets. A wide array of independent shops, flea markets and vintage boutiques makes it a dream destination for fashionistas and hipsters.
Amsterdam’s Schipol Airport is really close to the city centre and therefore really easy to get to via a selection of public transport. The easiest way is to hop on the train, which takes around 20 minutes. Alternatively, there are a selection of buses outside the terminals that travel direct to various parts of the city centre. Otherwise there is a busy taxi rank by the airport where you can pick up a quick, cheap cab to your destination.
At the doorstep of the Centraal train station, Amsterdam’s busy city center, the Binnenstad features a range of hotels for all budgets. Everything from simple hostels to 5-star luxury hotels are on offer.
