Amsterdam is nice but reaearch a bit of time kn advanced to know where thw cheapest places to eat and drink are. Plan in advanced museums and sightseeing as they sell out. Invest in bus ticket at the bookstore in the airport. It is cheaper for a few day pass and that is worth it.
